A New Afrikan Culture

A people’s culture; its traditions, religion and common history, defines the possibilities for that people.  On the African continent as in the “Americas”, Black culture struggles still to overcome the “twin holocausts” of Slavery and Europe’s 19th century “dismemberment” of the African continent. Both slavery and Europe’s imperialism: suppressed, persecuted and sought to destroy Black cultures, as a tool of imperial domination.

To rebuild Black nations and Black people, we must rebuild Black culture.

The Pan Afrika Network’s purpose is to provide an all Black environment and community where Black people can come together, and work together to share and develop new cultural initiatives and imperatives to better address our current realities and needs. These new ideas and energy are the seeds of the “New Afrikan” culture.
